The Word- Weakness.

Good Monday Morning!

What a joyous day it is! I haven’t stepped out yet,but I’m certain the day is already beautiful!

I’m hoping your weekend was splendid! Mine flew by too fast, but it sure was restful!

Do you know that you have the same 24hours that everyone else has?

If you notice that you’re always making excuses for something you know you ought to do better, why not start now to work on it.

Let God know your weaknesses and then permit Him to work on them!

That already leads to what I’m sharing today.

I woke this morning to a message on my phone. I know I’ve told you guys already how I’m trying to live healthier and exercise more.

Well, I joined this fitness group a sweet lady formed which consists 5 of us awesome ladies who want to live healthier. But we’ve been kind of learning basics.

So this week begins the real deal. When I again saw all the somewhat strict rules, I thought “Ok! I’m going to have to opt out and walk this journey on my own.”

But I also know I’ve tried several times to “walk this journey” on my own and failed. So as I thought of quitting, even as I was in my sleepy state; God said “My power is made perfect in your weaknesses.” I heard it clearly!

That encouraged me. And then during my sweet time with Him. I was lead to pick my “Purpose Driven Life” and guess the day I ‘coincidentally’ opened to-  Day 35 titled “GOD’S POWER IN YOUR WEAKNESSES.”

Isn’t it awesome that this great and mighty God cares about small things in our lives. He cares about exercising and living healthy.

One might never accept that God cares about a thing like that, but if He says our body is His temple, how can you think it’s ok to just put anything into it?

Because of His sweet reminder that He’s ready to always help me with my weaknesses, I’m staying on the fitness group. It’d make me accountable. And if I’m removed, it wouldn’t be because I didn’t believe I could be disciplined; but because I tried my possible best(with no excuses) and maybe still couldn’t meet up.

Search your heart! I can tell that God is already reminding you about things He has asked for you to surrender, so He can help you with them.

Why not shamelessly tell Him about those weaknesses now, so He can show His power through them!

I underlined a sentence in what I read in PDL today and it states “God has never been impressed with strength or self-sufficiency. In fact, He is drawn to people who are weak and admit it.”

Abeg, I can’t even pretend that I have strength of my own! From where?

That’s why today I tell my saviour again how weak I am! Because He’s famous in making weak things of this world, strong through Him.

Tell Him of your weaknesses and see Him transform them! Hallelujah!

I hope this encouraged you. It sure helped me!

I’m sorry I can’t get to post very early in the mornings for now. However, posts will be up before 2 in the afternoon(by God’s grace!)

If you’ve not subscribed, pls do so in order to get all posts/notifications in your mail. God bless you.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Enjoy your day.

Love, Mobolaji.

I guess God is trying to tell us that he is interested in every little details of our lives.
Thanks love for this message, I think it’s time I surrender something to Him.

The Spirit is one o! Thank God you’re encouraged o! It’s not very easy to see food and say no to it, but it’s part of saying no to self so that the spirit can increase. Thanks for reading dear. Muah!

  • Aww congrats baby Bolaji. I’m happy that the word came for you at that moment. This God ehn, we’ve been made to believe he’s not concerned about little things like this in our lives but he’s such a lover and cheerleader. Pulling us and encouraging us to take that leap, that step forward. Me sef I need to get serious with my health diet and working out too. I just get lazy sometimes but I’ll ask the Spirit for help.

    Beautiful post Bolaji.

Ask Him o,I’m very sure He is willing to help. I remember very well that it was He who asked me to go on a jog the first time I did, and He has been the one helping me forward. He’s concerned about every little detail in our lives, He even knows the number of hair on our heads, how awesome! Thanks dear.
