Interview with Mobolaji. (Questions by Blog readers)

Hey hey heey! I sent a mail to blog subscribers yesterday to ask me any questions. (See why you should subscribe?) I got only one reply and I'd be answering the questions here, including the one I was asked on WhatsApp by a blog reader turned friend. I tried to get another male to answer a few questions, but it didn't quite work out- maybe another month. Here it goes.   How do you find time to write? Do you have a specific process for coming up with titles and developing content? I write anytime, anywhere and anyhow. LOL. Seriously, I try to write things down as soon as they drop. I have an app called KEEP on my phone…

Here’s why you are a THIRSTY Single…

Hey hey hey... Let's be truthful, many of us are (or used to be) thirsty. And it's not for water. Few months ago, I realized that I was no longer serious with my fitness plan. Obviously, I started gaining back the weight I had lost, but I gave myself a mental consolation. I told myself I was going to be fit when I found my fit partner so that we can be fit together. 5 things and people I currently love.

Hey hey heeey... Here are 5 things and people I currently love. Steven Furtick! I've been watching more of his messages. I have been following him on Instagram for a while now, but his messages have really blessed me. I listened to one to end my birthday on the 17th and it really was a message I needed. Especially because God had given me 1 Timothy 6:6 as a word for my new age. Godliness with contentment is great gain. (more…)

Working for God in the marketplace.

Hey hey heeey...       How are you and yours? Hope body dey kampe? (Hope you're strong?) I read a book in June by the CEO of the organization I work for titled 'Working for God in the marketplace.' Somehow, I noticed the book had a similar format with Letters to Our Fathers. It had 5 stories of people in different careers, struggling to represent God in their work. It's one of my best reads for the year-(I've been reading 3 or 4 books per month). It made me hungry to introduce colleagues to God, with my attitude and every other thing about me. But something happened yesterday and I thought to share with you. (more…)

The Word- Force.

The Word- Force.

Hey hey hey! How are you? I'm hoping your answer is 'great', because 'fine' has become too mainstream. Was your weekend stress free? Mine mostly was... Anyway, today's word is an interesting one I got after reading about Amnon, David's son who raped his sister. There's something about how God reminds you of things that you thought you'd forgotten. Things that normally wouldn't fall under your experiences. After reading and meditating on a lesson from Amnon's story, I remembered something that happened when I was in Primary school. Or was it Secondary School? I can't really remember. Let's read about Amnon first. 2 Samuel 13:10-12 AMP Then Amnon said to Tamar, Bring the food here into the bedroom, so I…
