God Chose You

God Chose You

Hey hey hey!

Can you believe it! Haha. I can’t believe you’re reading this right now. So much has happened since the last time I wrote here and I hope to share as much as the Holy Spirit will allow.

I’ve missed everyone and I’m so glad the blog is back up. The fact that you are reading this is a testimony because I almost lost the blog oh; 3 years worth of articles would have been gone- just like that. But thank God!

During the time off, I’ve received few mails and messages from people and I want to say thank you.

I didn’t plan on sharing this note but thought it was a needed reminder to me and you on what God has done for us.
Many times, we’re so discouraged about life that all we see are the negatives.

I was just reading the book of Ephesians one morning when this particular verse popped out of the pages to me.

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
Ephesians 1:4 NLT

If you read it really fast, you’ll miss the amazing reminder this verse carries.

That day, after I read this verse over and over again, I began to see myself differently and feel the tangible love of God. Before He made the world, God loved me and chose me to be Holy in Christ and without fault in His eyes.

As I meditated on it, the Holy Spirit began to use my job to teach me what that meant. When they chose me to work for them, they equipped me with things I’ll need to make my work easy. They provided laptop, wifi, rules and regulations that guide us and definitely a salary.

In God’s kingdom, we might not get a ‘salary’, but we get salvation and the seal of the Holy Spirit. We get the Word that changes us from the inside out, we get friends and family in the faith, we get to hear God speak to us and we get to know Him better.

Why would God choose us and not equip us with ‘tools’ we need. He’s not wicked like that.

So, whenever you begin to feel less than, frustrated, tired and like you want to give up, pause and declare Ephesians 1:4 over your life.

Even before he made the world, God loved me and chose me in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.

Love and light,
