Song recommendation: ‘The way you Father me’ by Elijah Oyelade.

Hey hey hey!

I remember singing this song on the top of my voice one day as I cleaned our kitchen environment. I didn’t even care how I sounded or what my neighbors thought about my voice. All I knew was that it made more and more sense as I sang it repeatedly.

If you know Elijah Oyelade, then you know his songs are not regular ‘christian’ songs but have a way of compelling you to pray (check ‘Spirit Pray’ by him too).

‘This is the way you Father me,
I love the way you Father me…
Oh, this is the way you Father me,
I love the way you Father me…’

Indeed, this (very personal, mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, devil-chasing way) is the way God Father’s me. He Father’s me even better than my earthly father because He fills the void that my Dad can’t.

This part of the song means a lot to me too:

‘You touch my eyes so I can see
You’re making me to be like you
You touch my heart so I can love you more
You’re making me to be like you
You touch my ears so I can hear your word
You’re making me to be like you
You touch my mind so that I can know you better
You’re making me to be like you…’

Because when I sing it, I am reminded that I am becoming more and more like Jesus. He’s fine-tuning me to be like Him until the glorious day we get to stay together forever.

This is the full song. Kindly check YouTube for it or Whatsapp me if we’re friends on ‘Wassap’.

‘The way you Father me’ by Elijah Oyelade.

Anybody love the Lord
Lift your hands and worship Him
His name is everlasting

I feel love
I feel your presence over me
I feel love
I feel his power everywhere
I feel love
I feel His presence all over me
I feel love
I feel your power everywhere

Thank you Jesus
This is the way you Father me
I love the way you Father me

Halleluyah!

Thank you Jesus (Speaks In Tongue) Yeaaah
You touch my eyes so I can see
You’re making me to be like you
You touch my heart so I can love you more
You’re making me to be like you
You touch my ears so I can hear your word
You’re making me to be like you
You touch my mind so that I can know you better
You’re making me to be like you

Father I love you I do
Jesus I love you, I do

Anybody love the Lord
say Father I love you, I do
Jesus I love you, I do

It’s all about you
It’s all about…my life
It’s all about you

There’s no me without you
Ha! No me without you

I need you more than yesterday
No No No me without you!
There is no me
(I can’t do nothing on my own. Lord, I need you more than ever before. I need you more than yesterday, you are my tomorrow…)

There’s no me without you
There’s no me without you
Halleluyah
I surrender, I surrender, I surrender
Lord I surrender
My life to you

He’s touching your eyes so you can see He’s making you to be like Him
He’s touching your heart so you can love Him more
He is making you to be like Him
He’s touching your ear you can hear His words
He is making you to be like Him
He’s touching your heart so you can love Him better
He is making you to be like him

There is no me without you
No me without you…

I hope it ministers to you like it does to me every time.

Light and Love,
Mobolaji.
